Some Innovative Tech Projects In Education From Around The World

For the past few years, I have been fortunate to be associated with issues at the intersection of the technology and education sectors as part of my research. As a result, I have come across some exciting tech projects in the education section from across the globe. Now that I have taken this course, I am very excited to spend more time on getting to learn about more such innovative projects. #6 – Geekie

#7 – inABLE

This startup in Kenya helps in supporting the education of students with visual impairments by using the latest ICTs. Visit the website: http://www.inable.org/


#8 – Nafham

#9 – University of the People

Interesting projects! I am wondering what percentage of people in Africa or India use social media. How popular is it? How many students have smartphones or smart pads and thus ready for Web 2.0 embedded education? Most of the research related to this topic are focused on North America or Europe.
